WHAT IS THE GALA?
The Gala is The da Vinci School’s main fundraisers of the year. The Gala is The da Vinci School will host its annual Gala at the SMU Collins Executive Education Center on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The Gala is made up of a silent auction, live auction, wine pull and raffle.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
The dress for the Gala is cocktail attire.
WHERE DO I PARK?
There will be valet parking at the event.
HOW DO I GET TO SMU AND THE COLLINS EXECUTIVE EDUCATION CENTER?

WHAT IS THE WINE PULL?
Parents can donate bottles of wine worth more than $25 for the Wine Pull. Gala attendees can purchase tickets to participate in the wine pull and each ticket wins a bottle of wine. The Wine Pull will begin in late January. Angela Cummings is chairing the Wine Pull.
WHEN WILL THE RAFFLE START?
Tickets for the raffle will be available for sell in late January. Parents can buy and/or sell raffle tickets. Prizes for the raffle will be listed on the tickets. Winners will be announced at the Gala. You do not have to be present at the Gala to win.
I WANT TO SPONSOR. WHO CAN SIT AT MY TABLE?
Anyone. Friends, family, class parents, other parents from the school, etc.
I WANT TO SPONSOR BUT DON’T WANT TO USE MY TABLE. WHAT CAN I DO?
You can keep all other sponsor benefits and donate your table back to the Gala. We can use the table to sit teachers and staff.
I WANT TO SPONSOR BUT DON’T THINK I WILL USE ANY OF THE BENEFITS. WHAT CAN I DO?
You do not have to use any of your benefits and we can still recognize you in the Gala marketing materials. You also do not have to be listed if you choose to make your donation anonymous.
I WANT TO BUILD A DUTCH TABLE. HOW DO I DO THIS?
Gather up the group that will be sitting together. Send in ONE contract listing the people that will be sitting at the table. Checks for each person/couple can be included with the contract or must be sent in before December 15th. If submitted separately from the contract, please have each person/couple attach a note with the check as to which table they will be sitting.

Additional participation is welcome! The Gala Committee would love for you to join them. The committee is already hard at work soliciting items for the silent and live auctions, as well as planning and executing the event itself.
